An “endless” project of ‘The Utopian Libraries’ has begun from the stamps of non-existent libraries. They were stamped on the Artist’s Books in order to add new dimensions to them. I glued the library cards in the books and stamped them with the libraries’ stamps. The descriptions of every stamp are published in the internet.
At that time I was making the Artist’s books incorporating the idea which can be described in short words as “museification of everything”. These were the books imitating scientific literature and reference books – atlases, handbooks on anatomy, “astronomies”, directories of birds, fishes etc.
